In collaboration with Thomson, AVN Teknik A/S can present the world's first Collaborative 7 axis at Automatik 2024.
A 7th axis is a linear system that extends a robot's reach.
This means that a robot can perform tasks in a very large area, which means that you can, for example, perform welding, painting, jointing tasks or machine fitting with long distances to Pick and Place positions, or that the robot can operate several machines simultaneously.
When the robot is also Collaborative and installed on a Collaborative 7th axis, this enables the robot to work together with an operator, so that the task of supplying the machine cell with new raw materials and removing finished materials is considerably simplified.
Thomson's Collaborative 7th axis can be supplied in all stroke lengths up to 10 meters and is fully integrated with UR robots.
Thomson's Collaborative 7th axis mounts in all directions.
AVN Teknik A/S can of course also deliver 7 axes, which are not Collaborative, for use in collaboration with other robot manufacturers and in all payload areas.
Contact AVN Teknik A/S for further information and sparring.
